Major Achievements: |
Development of the first Holter recorder and analyzer to acquire,
measure and classify ambulatory ECGs began in 1961. Since 1963,
Del Mar Medical Systems has built and supported more than 5,000
Holter analyzers and 50,000 Holter recorders. Today, an estimated
100,000 Holter work-ups are performed each month with products produced
and distributed by Del
Mar Medical Systems, LLC (spun off from Del Mar Avionics in
1999).
Development of the first computer-based desk-top CD mastering system
for the music industry, the FireTrac, in 1993. Sold the division
to ODME, a division of TOOLEX International, in 1998. |
